League of Legends Patch 26.19: Changes, Skins & New Content
League of Legends Patch 26.19 is now here, and it arrives at an important point in the 2026 season. With Worlds approaching, Riot Games is making another round of competitive balance adjustments while also adding new content to several parts of the game.
The update is not limited to champion buffs and nerfs. Patch 26.19 also changes Teleport and support-item progression, adds new content to Arena, expands League Classic with returning champions and old items, and introduces four new skins.
For players who mainly play Summoner’s Rift, some of the most noticeable changes involve Aatrox, Aphelios, Aurora, Lillia, Lucian, Poppy, Rumble, Ryze, Vi and Volibear. Riot says these changes are part of its first round of pro-focused Summoner’s Rift adjustments before the upcoming Worlds patch.
That does not mean every change is aimed exclusively at professional players. Riot has also identified champions and systems that can affect normal games, so several adjustments are intended to influence both competitive play and regular matches.
Patch 26.19 also gives players more reasons to revisit Arena and League Classic. Arena receives new Guests of Honor and several new Augments, while Classic gets additional champions and a collection of older items.
Here is a detailed breakdown of what changed in League of Legends Patch 26.19 and what players should know about the update.
Why Patch 26.19 Matters Before Worlds
Riot describes Patch 26.19 as the first round of pro-focused Summoner’s Rift changes before the Worlds patch.
The developer says it has identified some potential fringe picks for the tournament and some meta outliers that could use adjustments. At the same time, Riot wants to give certain champions more opportunities in ordinary games without creating disruptive balance problems.
Top lane is another major focus.
Riot says the top-lane role quest has been successful at allowing players to skip Teleport, so the developer is increasing the amount of map influence top laners can gain from the summoner spell.
This makes Teleport one of the more important system changes to understand in Patch 26.19.
Aatrox Gets a Small Power Increase
Aatrox receives improvements to two parts of his kit.
Riot explains that changes to Sundered Sky reduced some of Aatrox’s power, particularly after those item changes were intended to open up the jungle meta.
To compensate, Patch 26.19 improves Infernal Chains and Umbral Dash.
The cooldown of Infernal Chains is reduced at several ranks, while the health-healing ratio on Umbral Dash increases from 1.1% to 1.3% per 100 bonus health.
The changes do not completely redesign Aatrox. Instead, they give the champion some additional power through ability uptime and sustain.
Aphelios Receives Several Buffs
Aphelios receives one of the more detailed adjustments in the patch.
Riot says Aphelios has been receiving less attention despite being a hypercarry who can benefit from an enchanter-focused environment.
His different weapons are therefore receiving improvements.
Calibrum’s Moonshot gets increased base damage.
Severum’s healing is improved.
Gravitum’s slow now decays to 15% rather than 10% after the initial period.
Infernum’s Duskwave cooldown is reduced.
Crescendum also receives an adjustment to its Mini-Crescendum damage scaling, allowing the higher damage threshold to extend to the ninth chakram rather than the eighth.
The result is a collection of smaller improvements rather than one dramatic rework.
Aurora Gets More Utility
Aurora receives improvements to her evolved abilities.
The slow duration on her evolved Void Spike increases from two seconds to 2.25 seconds.
Her evolved Leap also receives an increased range bonus, moving from +200 to +300.
Riot’s explanation points to Aurora losing power after Rocketbelt was adjusted earlier in the year.
These changes give her additional utility without completely changing the way the champion works.
Lillia Becomes More Durable
Lillia receives a base armor increase from 22 to 24.
Her ultimate, Lilting Lullaby, also gets a longer sleep duration.
The sleep duration increases from two seconds to 2.5 seconds.
Riot says the goal is to help Lillia survive situations where she needs to enter danger while also giving her more opportunities to make plays.
For players who use Lillia to initiate fights or create openings for teammates, the extra durability and longer crowd-control duration are meaningful changes.
Lucian’s Abilities Are Adjusted
Lucian receives changes to his passive, Q and ultimate.
His Vigilance empowered on-hit damage is reduced from 15 plus 20% AD to 5 plus 15% AD.
At the same time, Piercing Light receives increased base damage.
His ultimate, The Culling, receives a longer cooldown.
The changes represent a tuning adjustment between Lucian’s different roles.
Riot specifically explains that the Vigilance passive was originally introduced partly to prevent mid-lane balance changes from unnecessarily hurting Lucian’s bot-lane performance.
Patch 26.19 changes that balance again.
Poppy’s Jungle Power Is Reduced
Poppy’s flexibility has been an important balance concern.
Riot says her ability to appear in multiple roles, particularly her jungle presence, has suppressed other champions because of her strength as a counterpick.
The patch therefore targets her jungle clear.
Hammer Shock’s maximum-health damage cap against minions and monsters is reduced at every rank.
This is not a complete Poppy rework. It is a targeted adjustment intended to reduce some of her jungle flexibility.
Rumble Receives a More Targeted Adjustment
Rumble has been particularly strong at higher levels of play, according to Riot.
Patch 26.19 changes his Junkyard Titan passive.
His Overheat attack-speed bonus is reduced from 50–130% to 30–100%.
However, the monster cap is increased from 65–150 to 90–175.
This creates a more specific trade-off.
Rumble’s strength in high-level combat is reduced through the passive adjustment, while his jungle performance receives compensation through the higher monster cap.
Ryze Gets Both Defensive Help and Damage Restrictions
Ryze receives several changes.
His armor growth increases from 4.2 to 4.7.
However, the bonus damage from Flux on Overload is reduced.
The Flux bonus-damage scaling moves from 25/50/75/100% increased damage to 15/40/65/90%.
Spell Flux also costs more mana at each rank.
Riot says Ryze’s strong itemization and high-level skirmishing and roaming have made him particularly effective in skilled hands.
Patch 26.19 therefore gives him some additional defensive help while reducing part of his offensive scaling.
Vi’s Durability Is Reduced
Vi has been a consistent presence throughout the year, according to Riot.
Patch 26.19 targets her durability and early clear speed.
Her base attack damage changes from 63 with 3.5 growth to 61 with 3.9 growth.
Her Blast Shield also receives a reduction, with the shield moving from 12% of maximum health to 10%.
The goal is to make Vi somewhat riskier while preserving the impact she can have when players build and play around her strengths.
Volibear Receives Buffs
Volibear moves in the opposite direction.
Riot says AD Volibear has remained weak despite earlier efforts to improve the build, while AP Volibear has also needed attention.
Patch 26.19 increases the AP scaling on his passive attack-speed stacks.
His lightning on-hit damage also receives an additional bonus-AD component.
This gives both of his major build directions more room to benefit from their respective stats.
Teleport Changes Give Top Lane More Map Influence
Teleport is one of the most important system changes in Patch 26.19.
Riot says the top-lane role quest has been successful at allowing players to avoid choosing Teleport early in the game.
The developer now wants Teleport to provide more map influence to top laners.
The role-quest Teleport cooldown is reduced from 420 seconds to 390 seconds.
The upgraded Unleashed Teleport also receives a cooldown reduction.
The change is important because Teleport is not simply a combat spell. Its main value comes from how it changes a player’s ability to influence other parts of the map.
For top-lane players, this can create more opportunities to respond to fights, objectives and developing situations away from their lane.
Support Item Changes
Patch 26.19 also changes World Atlas and Runic Compass.
Riot is shifting some of their power away from flat health and toward health regeneration.
These changes affect the way support champions receive defensive value from their early item progression.
Although they may appear smaller than champion buffs and nerfs, item changes can have a significant effect because they influence entire classes of champions rather than one character.
Arena Gets New Content
Arena receives a substantial amount of new content in Patch 26.19.
Riot adds three new Guests of Honor.
They are:
- Ivern
- Senna
- Thresh
Each Guest of Honor changes the way a team can approach the mode.
Ivern
Ivern creates a brush at the locations of a team after it loses a round.
The brush remains for the rest of the game.
This adds a persistent environmental element that can influence later rounds.
Senna
Senna opens three portals connected to the Death Realm.
Players can enter the portals to travel into the Death Realm and use the available portals to return.
This introduces another movement and positioning option for Arena matches.
Thresh
Thresh helps downed teammates.
While downed, he can throw a lantern to allies every few seconds.
Nearby allies receive a shield, and a player can click the lantern to be pulled toward the downed Thresh player.
These three Guests of Honor add substantially different strategic options.
New Arena Augments
Patch 26.19 also introduces new Arena Augments.
Some are returning from Mayhem, while others are completely new.
The new Augments include:
Archmage
Casting an ability refunds part of the cooldown of another randomly selected ability.
Crit N Cast
Players gain Ability Haste based on their Critical Strike Chance.
Death Dealer
This Augment replaces Flee and allows a player to activate a Death Realm effect against a target champion.
The target is isolated for a limited period, while the user becomes invisible for the first two seconds after entering.
Got That Dog In Em
Every three seconds, a nearby hot dog appears.
Picking it up causes the character to breathe fire.
Enemies can also pick up the hot dog and potentially damage their own allies.
If a player dies while breathing fire, the effect can cause an additional explosion.
Hellbent
Hellbent revolves around building stacks through attacks and abilities.
At maximum stacks, taking lethal damage activates a resurrection state before the champion returns with a portion of maximum health and temporary combat bonuses.
Sonata
Sonata alternates between modified versions of Sona’s healing and movement abilities.
The effect can provide healing, shielding and movement-speed benefits.
Surge Field
Casting an ultimate creates a zone that grants Ability Haste and bonus movement speed while also adding additional magic damage to attacks against enemy champions.
These additions are designed around Arena’s intentionally unpredictable gameplay.
League Classic Expands Again
League Classic receives more returning content in Patch 26.19.
Four champions are added:
- Fizz
- Graves
- Nami
- Nautilus
Classic is designed around older versions and concepts from League’s history, so these additions are different from simply adding modern versions of the champions to the regular game.
Graves is particularly notable because Riot describes this version as the pre-rework Graves from the 2011–2015 period.
His Classic kit focuses on the older shotgun-style identity, including True Grit, Buckshot, Smokescreen, Quickdraw and Collateral Damage.
Three Classic Items Return
Patch 26.19 also brings back three older items.
They are:
- Cloak and Dagger
- Moonflair Spellblade
- Zz’Rot Portal
Cloak and Dagger combines attack speed and critical strike chance with Tenacity.
Moonflair Spellblade provides Ability Power, Armor and Magic Resistance alongside Tenacity.
Zz’Rot Portal provides defensive stats and creates a Void Gate that periodically sends Voidlings down the nearest lane.
These items are part of League Classic rather than being presented as ordinary additions to the current Summoner’s Rift item system.
League Classic Community Vote
Patch 26.19 also introduces another Council community poll.
Players can vote on six specific areas, including which champion’s kit should be prioritized for restoration next.
The voting period lasts seven days, and players can change their answers while the poll remains active.
Riot says the results will be published in future Patch Notes.
This continues the community-driven approach to deciding which parts of League’s history return to Classic.
Four New League of Legends Skins
Patch 26.19 also has a strong cosmetic component.
Four new skins are scheduled to release:
Coven Janna
Janna joins the Coven theme with a darker supernatural visual identity.
Coven Mel
Mel receives a Coven-themed appearance that expands the skin line with another modern champion.
Old God Anivia
Anivia joins the Old God side of the thematic universe.
Old God Urgot
Urgot also receives an Old God skin, giving the champion a heavily themed visual transformation.
The patch also introduces chromas for several existing and new skins.
The chroma lineup includes Coven Ahri, Coven Ashe, Coven Janna, Coven Mel, Coven Morgana, Old God Anivia and Old God Urgot.
The skins are scheduled to become available on September 23, 2026.
Team Voice Is Delayed
One of the most important non-launch changes is something that is not actually arriving in this patch.
Riot says Team Voice was originally announced for North America and Oceania in Patch 26.20.
After additional testing, Riot decided to postpone the rollout.
There is currently no new target patch.
Team Voice is intended to expand the existing premade-party voice chat so that players can communicate with everyone on their team.
Riot says it wants additional time to ensure the feature meets its quality expectations before release.
This means players should not expect the wider Team Voice rollout as part of Patch 26.19.
Patch 26.19 Bug Fixes and Quality-of-Life Changes
The update also contains a long list of bug fixes.
Several fixes affect specific champion abilities and visual or interface problems.
Examples include fixes for Janna’s Tailwind persisting after an ally’s death, Taliyah’s terrain hitbox, Yone’s ultimate warning visuals, Yunara’s attack resets and Nunu & Willump’s camera behavior.
The patch also improves several Classic interface elements.
The champion-select visuals have been updated to make team and position information clearer, the loading screen has received a more classic appearance, and the Council voting interface has been improved.
A new Recommended sorting option has also been added to the Runes store to help newer accounts identify suitable early-game rune options.
What Patch 26.19 Means for Regular Players
Patch 26.19 is not simply a professional League update.
While Worlds preparation is clearly part of Riot’s reasoning, several changes affect normal games directly.
Top-lane Teleport becomes more available through a shorter cooldown.
Champions such as Aatrox, Aphelios, Lillia and Volibear receive improvements.
At the same time, Poppy, Rumble, Ryze and Vi receive changes that reduce or reshape some of their strengths.
Arena players have a completely separate set of changes, while Classic players receive an even larger collection of historical content.
This means the practical impact of Patch 26.19 depends heavily on which League mode a player spends the most time playing.

Final Thoughts
League of Legends Patch 26.19 is a broad update arriving just before the game’s Worlds-focused patch cycle.
The biggest story is not one individual champion change. Instead, the patch brings several different layers of League up to date at the same time.
Summoner’s Rift receives another round of balance adjustments, with Riot specifically preparing for the competitive environment around Worlds while also addressing normal-play balance.
Top lane gets additional Teleport influence, several champions receive targeted buffs or nerfs, and support item progression is adjusted.
Away from the main map, Arena receives three new Guests of Honor and a collection of new Augments, creating more combinations for players to experiment with.
League Classic continues expanding as well, bringing back Fizz, Graves, Nami and Nautilus alongside three older items. The new Council vote gives players another opportunity to influence which parts of League’s history return next.
For collectors, September 23 is another important date because Coven Janna, Coven Mel, Old God Anivia and Old God Urgot are scheduled to become available.
The update also contains an important delay: Team Voice is no longer targeting Patch 26.20 in North America and Oceania, and Riot has not announced a replacement patch yet.
Overall, Patch 26.19 is best understood as a transition update. It prepares the competitive game for the upcoming Worlds patch while continuing to expand Arena, Classic and League’s cosmetic collection.
Players who want to understand the update should therefore look beyond the simple buff-and-nerf list. The changes to Teleport, Arena, Classic, skins and upcoming communication features are all part of the larger Patch 26.19 picture.
