Naughty Dog Confirms a Full Intergalactic Reveal in 2027

The latest update came from Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann during the studio's closing message for The Last of Us Day 2026. Druckmann explained that the Intergalactic team is currently focused heavily on development and described the project as something that is shaping up to be Naughty Dog's most ambitious game yet. The studio also acknowledged that fans have been waiting a long time for additional information.

Rather than continue showing small pieces of the project during the remainder of 2026, Naughty Dog has decided to set expectations clearly: there will be no major Intergalactic information for the rest of this year. That changes in 2027. The studio plans to fully reveal the game and provide a proper look at Jordan's science-fiction adventure.

This is a much stronger confirmation than the previous situation, where fans were largely relying on speculation and industry reports to guess when the next trailer or gameplay presentation might arrive.
