NARAKA: BLADEPOINT — The Legend of Qin Event Rewards and How to Get Them
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT has integrated The Legend of Qin into its martial arts combat world with a crossover that goes beyond character cosmetics. The October 2026 update adds a unique battle in Crescent Moon Valley, a puzzle-like Whimsical Melody Chest, crossover collectibles, and a limited-time progression event that allows players to play to unlock sealed chapters of The Legend of Qin.
The biggest hurdle is knowing how everything works and what deadlines you need to keep in mind. Some rewards are earned by playing regular matches, some are earned by completing special encounters or event quests, and a handful of crossover outfits and weapon skins are sold separately.
This guide details the confirmed ways to earn rewards, how to approach each activity, which rewards require currency, and how to focus on the event before its activities expire.
These are from the official October update announcement. Check the event screens of the game for later changes and on the exact conditions of the rewards for each reward.
Players from India should add 5 hours and 30 minutes to UTC. For instance, the November 4, 20:00 (UTC) deadline for the crossover mode’s fate corresponds to November 5, 1:30 A.M. IST. The event of collectible progress finishes on 2 November, 4:30 AM IST.
The practical takeaway: Don’t expect the rest of the cross over reward to stay until November 4. The main event is usually longer than a number of its associated side missions.
Crescent Moon Valley Battle: Finish the Special Encounter
Crescent Moon Valley Battle is the heart of the crossover gameplay. Instead of players having to quit regular matchmaking to play an all together different mode, the encounter can show up in regular matches.
How to get to Crescent Moon Valley
The official update are that Moonfall Gate shows up sometime after the start of a match in qualifying Survival modes and Rift Traversal. Immortal War is not in Survival mode list.
Once the gate is active, players can use it to go to Crescent Moon Valley. The gate supports only two teams of players and closes after hours.
That’s a choice that takes on actual consequences in the game: going into the encounter means you’re investing time and resources in a particular mission rather than just going along with the normal shoot-‘em-up battle.
How the battle works
Once in Crescent Moon Valley, the protagonist must protect Tianming from Qin soldiers and battles them. The encounter is focused on fighting as efficiently, with the official statement saying that rewarding faster completion with greater rewards.
The update also brings a survival feature. A player who receives a critical blow to the head can survive and regain full health, but every such event chips away at their Offense.
That changes the calculus for how errors should be punished. The healing can stop an instant loss, but there is an offensive penalty for taking the healing repeatedly. It is good to live and not die, but it is better to live and not off your own people
Tips for better encounter rewards
Enter with time enough to succeed. The door will only be open for a short while though, so please don’t treat it as a “leave it until the last moment to do it” type of thing.
Get a mission on the encounter. Tianming should be protected and the Qin soldiers defeated, not scattered across a wild goose chase.
Don’t trigger lethal damage multiple times. The health regeneration is useful, but the temporary Attack decrease may lead to a harder remaining battle.
Speed clear after knowing the fight Rushing your first clear as fast as possible is not a good way to start, controlled positive clear is better than rushing into mistakes you could avoid. If possible coordinate with your teammates. Communication and dealing with the team becomes important since only 2 teams are allowed to enter.
Whimsical Melody Chest: Interact to Earn Rewards
The Whimsical Melody Chest is also a crossover event that appears in eligible Survival modes (excluding Immortal War) and Rift Traversal.
But this isn’t your average loot box that you just open up; players need to strike the chest and interact with it to solve its mystery. When you successfully do that, you get rewards.
It’s an optional chest to look for when you come across it, but it adds another layer to how players can interact with the crossover during normal gameplay. The announcement doesn’t detail the full reward list or guarantee that every chest drops the same thing, however.
Playing the chest
- Keep an eye out for the Whimsical Melody Chest while playing eligible modes.
- Hit and interact with it to work through the mechanism.
- Make sure you complete the interaction instead of assuming that just attacking it completes the activity.
- See the reward notification and your inventory after completion.
This chest activity is not to be confused with the crossover collectible progress bar. While both are related to The Legend of Qin, they are separate systems.
The chest is an in-match activity. The collectible progress bar is how you progress through lootable containers and guarantees a crossover collectible once it is full.

Crossover Collectibles: Track Your Progress
The crossover collectible event is probably the easiest one line-up rewards wise due to the fact its progress is tied to looting containers in game.
The event begins October 8, 2026 20:00 UTC and ends November 1, 2026 23:00 UTC.
Ways to get crossover collectibles
During the event, a progress bar can be seen in the bottom-right of the Home. Its displayed name is:
Crossover Collection · The Legend of Qin · Whimsical Melody Chest
To make progress towards the reward:
- Play games and lootable containers.
- Keep opening the eligible containers to increase the progress shown.
- Watch the bar on the home screen.
- Once the bar is full, claim your guaranteed crossover collectible.
The key word is “guaranteed”. Official update: Filling the progress bar guarantees a crossover collectible. It doesn’t provide a universal amount of containers needed to fill the bar, so to say that all players must do a certain amount of searches is baseless.
How to incorporate collectible hunting into normal gameplay
Unless you want to make every match a collectible run, avoid doing so. Just complete your objectives as you normally would, but keep an eye on the containers as you go, and check your progress bar every now and then.
This method allows you to slowly build up your collection without having to completely sacrifice your performance in Survival or Rift Traversal. For players who want to focus on getting the crossover collection faster, they can choose to prioritize looking for containers, but should still refrain from relying on a set number of matches to finish the bar.
What players need to know before they play
The event is split into two chapters with the second chapter starting on 20/10/2026 at 20:00 (UTC). At that point, the levels of the first chapter will be shut.
That transition is more significant than the November 3 overall end date. Don’t expect the whole First Chapter to be available for access as event NPCs like to surprise non veteran players with that one and make them believe you’ve got all the time in the world to complete chapter one.
The stages also have the following Souljade drops:
Pyreheart Venom Tempering Primal Starfall Ice Ring Break Thunder Rove Star-Shattering Force Polesword · Blistering Edge
The two chapters have the same drops as listed. Two Stages on different difficulty for each chapter, they cost different Fatigue, but the patch notes state that Souljade drop rates are the same in each difficulty.
From my experience, the odds are worse from the more expensive picks, so pick the stage difficulty you can clear consistently instead of presuming the pay more option has better drop rates.
The event levels further grant access to trial versions of Inor Wan, Kurumi, as well as Justina Gu with pre-set Souljade builds. This allows players to test those setups in the event rather than to view the trial as a permanent character unlock.
Dawnless Night and Devouring Maw
Along with the crossover, two other limited-time events are available.
Dawnless Night Noctiluca offers Loot Crate fans a chance to dive into an all-too-familiar sci-fi concept.
Dawnless Night expires on Oct. 20, 2026, at 20:00 UTC.
There are five quest groups that become available one after another every day since the begining of the event.
Quests are ordered, and you get the full event rewards for doing them all.
What to do: Begining From 2 March you can play Dawnless Day by Day Daily Unlock Sequence: Start from the Day 1 set. Depending which sets are left for your account, you may not be able to complete the entire chain leaving the event on the last day.
Reward list function isn’t be shown in the summary of the official announcement, so you can check the rewards to each sets in the event screen.
All-Devouring Maw
All-Devouring Maw expires at Oct 26 2026 20:00 UTC.
Every day the player can select from three different modes, one of them will have this mode’s buff. One more use is granted by finishing a quest. The uses are for today only and will be replenished Tomorrow.
The daily choice is final. Instead of picking the buffs based on some plan you are not going to follow, just pick the game mode you really want to play.
Also in the event are quest that give up rewards related to the quest when you complete a certain amount of them. Because the summary for the event does not list all the rewards, best check out the live event screen for which tasks to do first.
Should you buy the crossover pack?
That is inversely proportional to the characters and type of cosmetics you use.
Get a character pack if you play the related hero a lot and want the outfit, hairstyle, voice pack, or accessories included.
Go for a single weapon skin if you do not feel like buying the whole bundle for a look.
Check the bundle against individual prices before you buy, but don’t assume everything is going to be useful to your favorite character.
If holding Gold to a tight means you do not plan to spend them - and you want to collect rather than play – then the time limited Gameplay items first for Your goal is (skins etc).
The gameplay activities and store for the crossover are separate things. You will not unlock every premium outfit in the event by finishing the event.
What’s the Best First Step in the Reward Process?
When there are a number of different game modes going at once, the easiest thing to do is to focus on the main crossover while the smaller events are still going.
An easy sequence is:
First and foremost: Dawnless Night. It has five quest lines that are unlocked in one at a time, and the event concludes on October 20. Begin early and allow yourself time to complete the processing order.
And second: All Under Heaven. From the game modes you already play, collect pieces, turn them in for Alliance progress, and keep an eye on the 400-piece-per-week cap. The event closes on 28 October.
Suffer No Demon Part 1 Third. If you want, you can complete any first-chapter challenges you want before Chapter 2 opens on 20 Oct and Chapter 1 closes.
Fourth: Collectibles from Crossover. Keep searching lootables and check the progress bar - until its November 1 DEADLINE. But don’t let the dust settle: according to the official update, the collectibles can still be found in containers thereafter.
Fifth: Crescent Moon Valley and Whimsical Melody Chest. Take part when the artery or chest appears in an eligible competition. These activities last longer, until 20:00 UTC on 4 November.
Lastly, All-Devouring Maw and store offers. Be sure to utilize the daily buff and quest system until the end of October 26, and if you want to grab the Dew Bazaar, check it out before the end of its sale on Oct 15. This is a recommended planning sequence based on the published deadlines/unlock rules and is not an official ranking of rewards. If you really care about a particular item, the requirements for it in the game should be your priority.
