Fortnite Birthday Power Hour Today: Start Time & Rewards

Fortnite is celebrating its ninth Battle Royale birthday with a special Birthday Power Hour event today, September 26, 2026. Unlike the regular Power Hour schedule, Epic Games is giving players two extended sessions, with each one lasting three hours.

The event brings several birthday-themed bonuses to Battle Royale, including Presents for players when they drop onto the island, the new Birthday Sprite, the return of the Exotic Balloon Popper Assault Rifle, 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors.

For players in India, the timing is especially important because the second session crosses into September 27 locally. The first Birthday Power Hour begins at 11:30 PM IST on September 26, while the second begins at 4:30 AM IST on September 27.

The event is therefore worth knowing about before jumping into a normal Battle Royale match, particularly if you are trying to find the new Birthday Sprite or take advantage of the increased birthday-themed activity.
