Rocket Racing Ends in October 2026: What Players Need

Fortnite players who still enjoy Rocket Racing have an important deadline to keep in mind: Rocket Racing is scheduled to be removed from Fortnite in October 2026. This is not simply the end of another ranked season or a temporary rotation. Epic Games has confirmed that the Rocket Racing experience itself is being retired. Rocket Racing Quests are already unavailable, and Epic also plans to remove UEFN islands created with Rocket Racing templates.

There is, however, one piece of good news for players who have spent time collecting and customizing vehicles. Your Vehicle Locker is not being removed.  Epic says players will still be able to use their customized cars in Fortnite. That distinction matters. The Rocket Racing experience is going away, but your vehicle-related collection is not simply disappearing with it.
