Fortnite Solo Reload Victory Cup: Schedule & Prizes

Chapter 7 Season 4 sees the return of the Fortnite Solo Reload Victory Cup with a four-tournament schedule, a two-round format and cash prizes linked to Victory Royales in the final round.

For players in the Asia server, the first tournament is on October 2, 2026. Round 1 is at 9:00 AM and Round 2 is at 12:00 PM. The remaining tournaments are on October 9, October 16 and October 23. Epic’s live competition page currently shows the tournament running until October 23.

This tournament is not like a normal Reload Ranked session. You just need to reach the required rank to be eligible. To reach the cash prize round, players need to place high enough in Round 1 to qualify on the regional leaderboard. In Round 2, the goal shifts entirely: only Victory Royales matter.

Here is how the Solo Reload Victory Cup works, including the schedule, eligibility, advancement system, scoring, prizes and the key differences in rules players need to be aware of before playing.

Solo Reload Victory Cup

Schedule for Fortnite Solo Reload Victory Cup

The Asia event though is listed on Epic’s competitive page as starting on October 2, 2026 then ending on October 23, 2026. The contest is separated into four weekly competitions, each including Round 1 and Round 2.

The first three dates are currently shown on the official event page, with October 23 being the last day of the event in Asia.

There is one detail to keep an eye on the public event page may show condensed session information, while epic’s official rules describe Round 1 as about 2 hours, Round 2 as about 1 hour. Therefore, the precise in-game tournament timer should be the ultimate reference on D-day.

What Is the Solo Reload Victory Cup?

The Solo Reload Victory Cup brings the quick pace of Reload into a two-round competitive format.
The tournament doesn’t just pay out based on a player’s overall position, instead it has players surviving a qualifier, scoring enough points to advance to the next round.

Round 1

  • About two hours
    Up to eight matches
Placement and eliminations count toward the leaderboard
Only a handful of top-scoring players get through

Round 2

  • About one hour
    Up to three matches
Only Victory Royales are eligible for the leaderboard
A $100 prize is awarded for each Victory Royale.

The official rules from Epic Games confirm this two-round structure, with Round 1 using a points system and Round 2 only tracking first-place finishes.

This sets up two very different competitive problems.

In Round 1, you are trying to build a high total score over a number of games. Round 2 is much simpler: win a match and you get a cash prize.

Who Can Enter?

The Solo Reload Victory Cup is not for every Fortnite player.

Competitors are required to satisfy Epic’s eligibility criteria, such as having attained the required Reload Ranked level for the relevant event

Currently, there is a glaring discrepancy between Epic’s live event listing and its published Season 4 rules.
The live competition page lists the progression as Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Champion for first, second, third and final events respectively.

But the first Solo Reload Victory Cup you can play for 1,500 V-Bucks or can win Gold or higher, second requires diamond or higher, and third and more events will require Championship or above in Reload Ranked.

Epic also requires:
• Being at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in the player’s country of residence
• Having Multi-Factor Authentication enabled
• PAgreeing to the tournament rules, as applicable
These requirements are listed on the current event listing and official rules of Epic.

Round 1 – Qualification

Players have about two hours and can play up to eight matches. Only matches that start before the session window closes will count.

Round 1 is not like Round 2. Round 1 is points-based.

The official rules for the Solo Reload Victory Cup state that the scoring for Round 1 is the scoring shown in-game for the relevant tournament. For this reason, Epic does not provide a specific point table for Solo Reload Victory Cup Round 1 in the part of the rules that details the standard Solo Victory Cup scoring.

This distinction is important.

Players should not take the scoring table of a normal Solo Victory Cup and think that it directly applies to Solo Reload. In the case of Reload, the competition format is different and the relevant scoring is shown in-game.

What You Should Focus on in Round 1

It’s not just about winning a game.

With as many as eight matches being played, getting a consistent run is important. A player who is eliminated early and often can quickly find themselves with no chance of scoring, while a player who mixes eliminations with decent placements can continue to far in a session.

A good Round 1 strategy is therefore:

Don’t waste your early matches with fights you don’t need to have.

When the lobby starts to get tough, it’s survival that’s most important.

Get eliminations when you can in a good situation.

Don’t play every game like it’s a do-or-die attempt at a Victory Royale.

Keep an eye on the leaderboard if the game gives you enough information to gauge where you stand.
Leave enough time between games so you don’t miss the session cutoff.

You should always verify the precise value of the scores in the tournament’s in-game interface.

How Do You Get to Round 2?

Doing well in round one doesn’t automatically mean you’ve won cash.

You have to place well enough on your regional leaderboard to move on.

Here, another significant gap arises.

Epic’s current live Solo Reload Victory Cup event page has the top 800 players in Asia as one of the regions moving up to Round 2.

But the published Chapter 7 Season 4 official rules do say that the Solo Reload Victory Cup moves on:

Top 1,600 in Europe
Top 800 in NAC
Top 320 in OCE, Asia, ME, BR and NAW

The rules also say a player won’t be able to compete in round 2 unless the player points his/her berth into a region among the qualifications of the region.

As the live event page and the official rules currently list different cutoffs, this is one of the things players should confirm on the tournament interface itself prior to getting their hopes up about any specific cutoff.

What Happens in Round 2?

Round 2 is where the tournament really turns.

According to the rules of the Epic, Round 2 should last for about one hour, having three matches at most. Round 1 scores no points for normal finishes. The leaderboard keeps track of the number of Victory Royales a player has on their account.

It means:

1st place = one Victory Royale
Anything else = no R2 Victory Royale.

This is a completely different goal to simply collecting points.

Somebody could last till the late stages of a game and come second, but that second-place finish doesn’t grant a Round 2 Victory Royale in the tournament leader.

The limited three-match window means, too, that every game matters.

Fortnite Solo Reload Victory Cup Tips

Begin your Reload Ranked qualification early

The ranked requirement of the tournament has the highest barrier.

If you are under the required Reload Ranked rank, strategy in the tournament doesn´t matter yet. Verify the latest in-game requirements for the event and ensure your rank meets the requirement well before the tournament day.

Consider the first match as the entire session

Round 1 gives you a bunch of chances, but the eight-match limit means that every game takes a chunk out of your available tournament run.

Do not count on being able to make up a disastrous start endlessly.

Instead of looking for highlight plays, watch for disciplined play A nice kill-streaky game certainly helps, but taking bad fights repeatedly ends games, too.

A reliable player who knows when to back off can let you keep more potential points on the table.
Get ready for the Round 2 mindset

Don’t go into Round 2 expecting that the tactic that got you through Round 1 will work again.
Round 2 only rewards Victory Royales.

Once you get to the final section, the target is much clearer: win the game. Check the tournament screen before queueing

This is certainly important considering the current Solo Reload Victory Cup as Epic’s publicly available event page and official rules currently differ in some eligibility and advancement requirements.
The in-game tournamentdetails should be checked justbefore you compete.
