October 2 PUBG Drops: How to Obtain the RIP You Spray
A PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS Drop for its players to collect has just been announced for October 2 2026 and it can be the one that slips your mind bit if you’re not keeping tabs on the tournament schedule. The prize is the RIP YOU Spray, and it is available during the PUBG EMEA Championship and PUBG Americas Series Finals 2 broadcast.
The stipulation is simple: watch 120 minutes of a participating PEC or PAS stream on October 2. PUBG also announced that this weekend counts for double Drops as some previously planned rewards were shifted due to technical issues impacting earlier streams. That means there’s more than one chance to win a prize for viewers over the Finals 2 weekend from October 2–4.
Here is everything you need to know before the October 2 broadcast kicks off, including the India timing, eligible channels, account requirements and what happens after you fulfill the watch-time condition.
You don’t have to pick between the two. PUBG states 120 minutes of watch time on a PEC or PAS stream grants you all of that day’s rewards. That means if you fill the requirement you will get both RIP YOU Spray and Battle Hazard Work Boots for October 2.
The prize is from the Finals 2 Drop log-in, not a routine log-in gift or an everyday in-game quest.
RIP YOU to Spray How to Achieve PUBG RIP YOU to Spray
Obtaining the spray consists in these four simple steps:
Ensure your KRAFTON ID is linked to your PUBG game account and to the corresponding streaming account.
Tune in to a qualifying official PEC or PAS stream on Twitch or Kick.
Have a total watching of 120 minutes.
When the required watching time has been reached, redeem the Drop, as informed.
The official PUBG Drops instructions state that the KRAFTON ID needs to be linked to the game platform and stream platform for esports Drops. For PUBG, they’ve also previously used this account-linking mechanism for esports rewards on Twitch and Kick.
That’s the key part, to have your account fully set up before you start watching. It takes two hours to watch a tournament, then realize your accounts weren’t properly linked, turning what should-have-been an easy cosmetic reward into a support nightmare.
Where to Watch for the RIP YOU Spray
PUBG says Drops are available from an official PEC or PAS broadcast and also an official watch party with one of the streamers listed.
PUBG adds official co-streamers for the election night event. The current announcement is POKAMOLODOY, HIBAKO, Droog and Lauraa for PEC, while C_Dome, Corky, ThugFaasT, Tecnosh and Enoquiano for PAS.
For the simplest option, stick to the official English broadcasts of PUBG Esports and avoid trying out some random PUBG stream.
October 2 PUBG Drop Timing in India
The local broadcasts have distinct official start times.
PUBG lists:
PEC: 18:00 CEST
PAS: 4:00 PM PDT / 7:00 PM EDT
Here, the start time for the PEC for players in India is around 9:30 PM IST on October 2.
The PAS broadcast will begin at around 4:30 AM IST on October 3 when the posted time of 7:00 PM EDT is converted.
The various dates in the India column can be confusing, but it’s just the North American PAS start time being converted into India time.
For an Indian player who is chasing the October 2 Drop, the best bet is the PEC airing at 9:30 PM IST in the evening of October 2. Drop schedule has October 2 listed as the Final day for 2 Day 1 rewards .
How Long Do You Have to Watch?
You need to accumulate 120 minutes of watching.
That is two hours.
PUBG states explicitly: 120 minutes on a PEC or PAS stream and you’ll get all the rewards for that day, for that day.
So for October 2, it’s this:
120 minutes → RIP YOU Spray + Battle Hazard Work Boots
You don’t have to watch exactly 120 minutes uninterrupted, you can watch eligible cumulative minutes on any qualifying PEC/ PAS broadcast on that day.
This is also beneficial, if one eligible PEC and PAS broadcast stagger-switch between each other in the event one stream suffers a problem. But players should ensure both broadcasts are indeed part of the eligible Drop campaign, not all PUBG related broadcasts will have drops.
What If You Miss the Start?
You don’t have to be watching from the first moment of the competition.
The claim is to the 120 minutes of watchers that qualify, not for those who are hanging out during the opening ceremony or to the first game.
That gives players a little wiggle room.
So, for instance, an Indian user who joins the PEC broadcast late can still go for the Drop if the eligible Drop period remains open and the user has enough time in the broadcast to qualify.
But it is dangerous to wait that long. The official schedule says the reward for October 2 is for that day’s broadcast, and prior PUBG Drops announcements indicated that rewards are not given out beyond the end of the specified Drop period.
It is better to fulfill the two hour obligation long before the broadcast window ends, for that reason.
Why Double PUBG Drops This Weekend?
The schedule for October 2–4 is a bit different from a regular esports Drop weekend.
DROPS ” PUBG originally arranged drops around earlier Playoffs 1 broadcasts. However, PUBG later stated that “we were unable to make those Drops available due to technical problem.”
Instead of taking those rewards away, PUBG instead relocated them to the Finals 2 weekend 2-4 October, where they will again be issued along with the Drops initially scheduled for Finals 2.
That’s why there are two rewards for October 2 at:
RIP YOU Spray Battle Hazard Work Boots
Such is the pattern for the ensuing days.
October 3
Watch 120 minutes to earn:
Fried Chicken Spray Battle Hazard Logo Tee
October 4
Watch 120 minutes to earn:
PUBG Creed Backpack (Level 2)
Winner Winner Hat
PUBG Varsity Jacket
PUBG is billed as a weekend of double Drops, with items changing daily.
So if you want to go for more than the RIP YOU Spray the October 2 broadcast is just the beginning of the three day reward schedule.
RIP YOU Spray Explained
The RIP YOU Spray is a cosmetic reward that can be earned through PUBG’s esports Drop campaign.
It is not a weapon, gameplay item or competitive advantage. As with other PUBG sprays, it is mainly cosmetic and is used to customize a player.
PUBG’s official announcement details the item as RIP YOU (Spray). It does not mention any gameplay effects associated with the item, so players should not expect it to impact damage, movement, loot or other aspects of a match.
It is also a separate type of reward from those that directly influence a player’s loadout or match performance.
Do You Have To Play PUBG While Watching?
No.
The Drop is tied to watch time, not time in a PUBG match.
You don’t have to finish Battle Royale matches, get kills, or win games to get the RIP YOU Spray. The required condition is to be watch an eligible PEC or PAS broadcast for an appropriate cumulative amount of time.
This absolutely makes the event a nice fit for those who want the cosmetic but don’t necessarily want to commit to playing two hours of PUBG.
You can watch the esports competition and do something else, as long as the stream is still eligible and your account is set up properly.
How to Claim the Reward
After meeting the watch requirement, the Drop itself should be available in the associated Drops system.
It may be necessary for those players who wish to claim rewards to do so in PUBG’s official Drops guidance states. After you have claimed the reward, you can view the reward in the Customize menu of the game.
Do not panic if the RIP YOU Spray doesn’t pop up instantly, do not think the Drop was they lost it for good.
First check:
Did you actually reach 120 minutes?
Being funny enough: Come in, enjoy yourself, meet the PEC or PAS stream live?
Was the right Twitch or Kick account linked?
Was your KRAFTON ID tied to the correct PUBG platform account?
If a Claim is present, Click it.
When you have claimed the reward, did you restart or refresh the game ?
PUBG’s support advice is to check account connections and if the reward was claimed when a drop is missing.
